I have the fastlane pipeline intake. Website says a tune is recommended but you can run without. The only problem I have experienced is when I am running at high altitudes in the mountains, the CEL comes on but when I get off the mountain it goes off.

It's known to push the LFTF's to the edge, without a tune.

I have it and if I had it to do over again I would have done the CAI inc w/ scoop, ADM race w/scoop or Vararam. The IAT's from the Pipeline get too high at idle. Its fine at speed and probably makes as much power as any good cai at speed but it suffers from crazy amounts of heat soak and starts to pull a butt load of timing when sitting still. This is no good at the track or any stoplight to stoplight race because by the time the MAF/IAT sensor gets cooled off reading true IAT's and gives you that timing back the race is over. Since you are going with a PD blower get the ADM, CAI inc or Rotofab unit. All those work with a ADM race scoop. Another thing that always worried me is that if the bottom of my bumper retained enough water I could ingest some of it. When I get my motor back together I will be switching to one of the above brands.

The Pipeline is not appropriate for FI applications. All of the twists and turns are restrictive and will hold back your engine. I have seen an SS with a Maggie and Pipeline pick up 30rwhp on the dyno in 20 minutes after switching to a CAI Inc intake. Did a run, swapped intakes, no other changes, did another run. WIN.

Yep. That's what mine does too. That tubing gets HOT.
