I'd rather have a machined or brushed/polished look but I'd go chrome over any black wheel any day.

Black wheels just don't look right to me. They look like a spare or utility wheel.

There's also no visual separation from the tire and it all blends together. Everyone has their own opinions but I could never put black wheels on a car. I just don't see the attraction.

I like chrome and also will be purchasing a set soon but a downside to chrome that i've noticed is sometimes they will start to peel or flake and when that happens it spreads through out the wheel just like rust spreads but I think if you wash them regularly then that will prevent that from happening.

I also have a black camaro and nothing beats a black car with chrome wheels. JMO. Here is my 92 with 20" irocs. Just recently sold her though

This is a debate that can go on for ever! As long as there's differnent people with different tastes and different color cars there will be different opinions on what looks good and doesn't! I chose to go with black because it compiments the matte black rally stripes. With RJT chrome would look good too, IF it doesn't have stripe. I think chrome looks great on ABM or gray and black looks good on other colors. It's all personal preference.

IMO chrome cheapens the look... looks kinda tacky. If you don't wanna do black, you could do brushed or gunmetal.
