Most units tend to deploy soon after, like myself. But others just use it as a training device. It all depends on the rotation of the brigade and what phase of transition they are in.

Don't worry if he hasn't told you he's going anywhere yet then he is probably staying stateside a little longer!

Unfortunately, he does not tell his mother much and if he has told my daughter or in-laws, they have not said anything either.
