First thing everyone asks "is it a v8" and my response has quickly become "if you can't tell does it really matter??". Now... Admittedly, when I pull away to leave I have to stick my tail between my legs.

Before I bought the car I told my manager I was getting it and her response was "I feel like everyone that drives a Camaro is a db. I mean, every time I see one I look to see who's driving it and it's always a db. Don't you agree?" I had no reply. Even my coworker looked at me like "did she just say that?". To put context around it I knew she was a Benz snob before I said anything and she has a habit of trolling the staff which is funny sometimes.

I am a Benz snob, well a 2006 Benz snob, but I feel like those are more the db type. Guess I'm 2x douche! Lol

New M4 passed me going up VIR back stretch like I was standing still. I raced Porsches, tracked BMWs for 20 years, people think I fell and hurt my head when I came home with this one. My wife catches crap all day @ work about it and was asked if she was going to start wearing camo to work now, she hates it too. Cheap fun ride.

But for $75K for a DD/track car it would be a M4 all day long over a Z28. Fast, and built right. The GM build quality and the GM dealers that push back on any warranty issues scares me. Time will tell.

Like every v6 occasionally I get the "is it a v8?" Question. I just tell em no. I'm not ashamed of what I bought bc I bought it all myself! I've heard the "camaro owners are douchebags." Comment a couple of times. I don't let it bother me bc 98 percent of ppl that make those type of comments can't drive a manual anyway! And 99.9 percent of these kinda people don't have the discipline to save money for a car like this anyway, I love my camaro best decision I ever made!
