I'm real close to Atco myself and I'm just starting my break in period but more important I dont have enough experience on the drag strip yet to feel confident that I wouldnt embarass myself and the ZL-1 community with my efforts. Anyone know when they are trying to get this done?

I spoke to Dave from Atco last night and told him as soon as I get 300 more miles that I would entertain the crowd there. He has one guy that has the GT500 and is also willing. Now is just about the schedule. Might end up on a Fri night and it will be announced that this will be a special event. We would get a few trial runs to practice and then the staging would begin. The croud will be on thier feet as the lights start...launch control will be ready..legs will be shaking....then let it be known!! As long as no one missing a gear...it will be fun and close!

And yes...no charge to do any of this and he will give some gifts out also. ?It's not about the $$....it's all about the fun and almost 50 years of Camaro /Mustang fueds.
