I did not follow the factory manual. You can lift the engine enough to remove the oil pan using an engine support brace like this one:

Thanks X25, I can make that. Didn't know you had to raise the engine up but should be doable. I will be adding the baffle before the track season starts up again.

You're welcome! Harbor Freight sells such a support bar if you're interested. More info at my build thread:

About time you west coasters started using those brakes! I went to ZL1 fronts, Raybestos ST 47/45. And don't bother painting them either, they turn colors too even with ducts!

That's pretty impressive actually. Granted, it's not as good as SRF, but it's getting closer than others. FYI, It's $30/bottle 16.9 o.z.), whereas I can get the same size bottle of RBF 600 for $14 (500 ml).

Very true it's not cheap, But you won't have to replace it as often either... Here's a pic of a torque dealer in CA who tracks his S2000 Name: image.jpg

My CTSV calipers look about like that after 3 track days. That's with cooling ducts too.

Hey, I finally wrote up the oil cooler setup. It's pretty brief, but I hope it is useful...

That's the perfect starting point- track wheels / tires, a CAI, headers and a tune. One thing that sucks around here is that Laguna Seca (nearest track) has sound limitations. Headers don't pass sound on most track days there. But the power increase is surprising. Have fun
