Ok so I am starting to like the sound of the exhaust. mainly cuz its nice inside.. no loud or drone or rasp... quick question.. actually multiple questions.. first, where can I get cutouts??? I think I want to add some just to make the car louder whenever I feel like or shows.. other, does anyone know how to fix the heat shield from rubbing on the x pipe?? Finally, for those of u that has use dynamat or any sound deadening material, how much do I need to cover the bottom of the trunk and the rear deck?? I swapped rear speakers and I think the wood against the metal is a bad idea.. today after the car sat all day out in the heat, I could hear a noise like thinks are loose back there when I would cruise on 4th at about 45 to 50 mph... it was like the resonance was making things move..

An exhaust shop should be able to hammer it a bit so it won't rub You don't need very much dynamatt at all. Like 25% of the trunk space. What we did is cut the deadening into pieces and placing them in different places. Places that had more vibration were obviously addressed first. |
