Wheel Cleaning

I am having a hell of a time cleaning the wheels. From the large amount of brake dust to the road grime. What products are you guys using? I have big hands so any kind of useful brush would be nice too.

Soap and water with a microfiber works fine.

If you want to save time and burn money but have an easier time cleaning...... Adams Wheel Cleaner with lug nut brush and red bristle brush.

From what I've read on a number of other posts in several different places, the best thing you can do is switch to ceramic brakes.

They are a pain to keep up on cleaning the 10 spoke but once you get them clean put wd-40 on a rag and wipe on rims. You'll be surprised how easy all the crap comes off next time with just a microfiber rag and a little wd-40. That's all I do now for the rims.

Never would have thought of that. I'm assuming you don't go ape sh*t with otherwise it would be slung all over your fenders.

Just spray wd-40 on cloth and wipe. Cleans and protects. Easy to keep up on going forward. I do same process to all of my bikes wheels/ rims and no issues over the years. Don't saturate them, just wipe them down.

I use these https://www.amazon.com/ABN-Wheel-Woo...=wheel+woolies

With this it's acid free and safe for the 1LE rims.

Those brushes are awesome. They will get all the way in there and between the calipers and clean the heck out of the inside. I've even used them on the exhaust tips.

I've had the most success cleaning the wheels and calipers, with a Metal Free Wheel and Rim wand from O'reilly,

I use these on my wheels along with simple green and they can be bent into shape, the smaller one I use to get behind the spokes with ease. Daytona Speed Master and Speed Master Jr. wheel brushes purchased on amazon.
