The powermat is a complete waste of money. As of right now to use it at home or the office you have to either buy a case (apple devices) or a new battery door just to be able to use the mat, as well as buying the mat. This is all assuming that the phone is supported.
I've had so many returned because people think you just sit any phone on it and it will charge, severe false advertising.

I don't know about it being Z28 worthy, but just by the sound of this it almost seems to make sense IMO to incorporate it into the Camaro XM package that was shown and slated for purchase in February-ish. Be a great way to test and see the demand and interest for this devise and if it will go well with the Camaro, Thailand it will add that little extra spice that the XM Camaro may need.

It sounds like they're going to be integrating it into many of their vehicles starting next year.
Given the tech-savvy image they've given the Camaro...I wouldn't doubt for a second this makes it into the C+C package and the 2LT/2SS models! Pretty cool stuff!! |

I'm picturing a mini-thunderstorm in American garages everywhere as the pad arcs up to the car.
