Auto show on Staten Island - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Every Tuesday night we hold a car show in the home depot parking lot right across from target (Right across the outer bridge crossing so anyone also nearby in north jersey its not too far for you).

Last year we were able to fill a parking lot that fits upwards of 500 cars. Right now were getting about 100-150 cars coming through including older muscle cars and new sports cars. I am one of the few camaro owners who come by (The show is dominated by mustangs unfortunately :( ) I am spreading the word to other Camaro owners on the island but if anyone is interested it isn't too far of a trip from north jersey like I said.

The show usually starts around 9, I tend to get there at 8:30 so I can get a good spot. It ends around 10:30-11 but as we move towards the summer it will begin to last longer

i headed there every now and then last year. I might stop by tonight depending on when i get my oil change finished.

got shut down by the cops tonight for reasons unknown, We all relocated to country donuts. We will back back at target next tuesday though so for those of you who can make it that would be great. Park near me (Im the cyber grey metallic one) hopefully we can fill up a line of spots.

I met a 45th anniversary 2lt tonight, guy was very nice he had just bought his car. We talked for a bit and told him about c5 and im assuming he will join soon.

other than that it was pretty packed until the cops rolled around. We have every right to be there until 12:00 so I dont understand how they can tell us to leave.

cops can tell you to leave the parking lot is private property

Yeah learned that today, that really wont stop people from showing up, its not the first time it has happened. Im assuming it will be there again next week, usually is. If they show up again we will move to country donuts again.

there is a bank parking lot that is empty on amboy rd that is big u cn fit tons of cars...
