Guys, the Galena bay Ferry can be a hella wait in the summer.

And damned if the Mica dam trip isn't wayyyy longer than I remember, lol. I don't think we want to do a 6 hour cruise do we?

We can hit the Revelstoke Dam for pics and then go halfway to Mica and stop at the Downie slide for a Picnic. The road is really nice and will be quite empty. Option 3?

What's the speed limit to the dam?

I don't know about Highway 23 to Mica Dam, but on Highway 69 in Ontario the speed limit is, lickity split.

it is only 155 K to the Dam and at Camaro speeds that translates into warp factor two and we are there in two hours, that is of course weather and road conditions dependant.

I'm doing good willhe64.....blower eh......I better start spending some $$$. My car is still bone stock !!!

You can look after the damn contacts....if you run into any problems let me know and I'll see if I can help.

You get it for 2 hours.....then you have to vacate for the next occupant. It's coin flip who goes 1st.

Welcome. You might want to talk with Sawdusty as I assume you will both be staying Abbotsford Friday night before we depart. The first rally point we be in Abby Saturday morning early and we will be stopping briefly in Chilliwack to pick up a few cars before we move on towards Kamloops and beyond.

I talked with my buddy Raymond who was on the cruise last year and he told me that they drove right on the ferry Sunday we parted ways in Revelstoke.
