873.8 RWHP and 880.2 RWTQ on A6 Dyno included
Here was a few of the Dynos of my latest set-up. With a 75 shot in there.
Car's got so much torque in the lower RPM bands (that along with the throttle response). This makes it hard to launch perfectly....but sooner or later...we will be there. The car pretty much averages 800 RWTQ from 2600 rpms thru nearly 6000 rpms.

That is an insane torque curve.
How do you plan on getting all that to hook!?! |

I hope you upgraded everything. Torque like that breaks stuff. Ask me how I know!
what are the build details? What's done to the tranny?

Thanks guys!
I'm probably just going to practice some launches the rest of the year (I've got 16s with ET streets on the back right now). If I really get the launches down....I'll do some full runs....I need to save some $$ before I risk breaking things! BTW....I pretty much have upgraded everything I can......I've got the 416 stroker, I've got the 9", I've upgraded the suspension a few years ago, and the Rossler Transmission is the best he (rossler) could do (and I believe thats enough). I've had this set-up on the street for the whole year (minus the nitrous) and its an awesome street car....just have to walk the line with how far to open the throttle in the first 20 mph! LOL. It sticks really well under most conditions on the street....thats why I know we aren't far from it doing the same on the strip. I'll probably just concentrate on improving the traction and launches with my mods this winter......15s, the latest suspension upgrade, maybe tubbing....and if that doesn't make it consistant enough.......I'll probably come down to the next gear size too.....3.25 or whatever it is? James

Who tuned the transmission ecu?
Those are some damn impressive numbers, too. What kind of psi are you pushing right now? 15lb's? |

A6 whipple question
What's the most anyone has gotten out of an A6/auto whipple (rwhp/rwtq) and a dyno would be much appreciated. A6s can't compete with manuals in total power numbers...so just A6s please!
With or without nitrous! Thx

A6 power numbers don't need to compete with M6's. I race manuals all the time with supposed higher dyno numbers and eat them alive. A dyno is just a place to reference your gains. On the track, totally different world. So who cares what a dyno says, the track says it all.
