Pumpkin Fixed

Finally. Got the call yesterday afternoon, Pumpkin is fixed. Just in time for it to start raining. Can't wait to try out the new ACT twin disc.

Nope. Just output shaft, bearings and seals and fresh clutch.

Which one did you get (torque tolerances), also did you get the street/street or street/strip discs?
Let me know how it goes, I'm looking into a clutch upgrade, but want something really strong, and willing to sacrifice a bit of streetability for strenght, and really powerfull launches.
I heard dual clutch systems are very difficult to engage and won't last for daily driver vehicles.

All there clutchs are street/strip. The street/street is a mis-print. Let you know after I drive it today.

ACT dual disc is mint. Put 100km on it today. Butter smooth and quiet. The engage point is slightly different the the stock one. Revs faster. Love it. Can't wait to get on it one day.

Seems to be a lot nicer to start off on a steep grade now over the stock clutch.

Missed a lot of good driving weather though. Pumpkin was gone for five weeks. That's what happens when you dance naked. Time to head to the hoist. Lots of work to do before, C5F 2.
