here TSP's best cam, not exactly the most tame, have to rev some to not surge in the low gears. 491 h.p. , 448 torque Stock ls3 with CAI induction and Stainless power headers with cats through dual mode exhaust...2013 Camaro with electric power steering. No under drive pulley, no ported heads or intakes, or throttle body just the basic three with a good tune, and pulls like a raging ape on steroids straight to the moon. it is the .639/ .623 cam with .675 springs 235/239 duration 112 lSA. Budget build and its just fine with me.

DID IT BEAT THE " NIGHT FURY" SIMILARLY EQUIPPED? That's for you to figure out.
Mines on a SAE Mustang dyno too. I am sure the dual mode helped and electric power steering?

I have no idea what it will run in the 1/4. I'm that older guy you read about with the car that never seen the track and never will. Sorry

Keep it tight with the lsa......112-108. You will get all the useable tq you need all under the curve.
I agree with this! My little cam I hand picked and does very well for what it is because the power it makes under the curve. Even once I go bigger I am keeping the duration around 220-235 ish on a 110 .580-600 max lift. That's just me, I want power to come in quick and I don't see the need for extreme lift! Dyno numbers don't mean to much, I want to see track times to back up claims. 10 peak HP does not mean its faster on the track!

Yup, seems people go for the most talked about big dyno numbered cams and not the ones getting the quickest times.

Note the trap speeds. The reason why this cam isn't judged by track numbers is because not everyone tracks their car. It's getting old seeing that comment in every thread. Also, most nf cars are m6, which require much more skill and seat time to get down the track properly.

your point is? NF ain't the BEST out there thats for sure there is no "BEST"

Edit: I'm a drag racer so I look at numbers at the track I careless what a dyno sheet says.

Not turning this into a pissing match,

Our SS3 makes 490's 450's on stock heads.

SS2 is about 10 hp and tq less, with better power up to about 4k.

Getting sick of hearing the truth I guess. Not everyone races, but I would still pick parts based on what I see performing the best at the tracks. Prime example, my buddy picked a cam for his GTO based on it making huge dyno numbers. On the track he is struggling to run 11s... I think will go 11s but like I told him when he picked it, it was not right for his gearing and stall, to much cam no matter what it made on the dyno! Smaller cam and he would be faster with less.
