The hood is aluminum....the rest is steel.

And the next question - does the six-speed manual have the annoying 1st to 4th Skip- Shift feature? And if so, for both the V6 and V8?

Really nice looking car. Wish the bowtie was about 1/2 the size and I wish the SS had the standard grill. The mail slot is awful. I want a v8 convertible without a mail slot/SS grill. GM also has to consider some type of green, but I am reaching. Thanks to GM and Chrysler for bringing back the Camaro and Challenger.

Amen to that. Considering his grammatical style, I'm surprised that a Camaro SS isn't transformed into a Camaro ZZ. As does that poster, I live in Louisiana, but I guess I paid more attention in English class.

*snicker* "But they look phat on my rezume".
"Yea...you'll go far kiddo".

Anyway....my opinion, I would prefer the look of a sunroof that drops and slides inside the roof, but that likely a more expensive build.
I drove a car for a while that had one, and used quite often.

In the end though, I probably will not go for the sunroof on the Camaro.
Having the windows down does the job for me pretty well.

Question: If you have sat in the car with the windows down, is the sill fairly high? I rode in someones car recently and it felt like my elbow was at ear level when I had my arm out. Not to comfortable.
Just curious. Thanks.

I agree...IMO, the sunroof would have been better sliding inside the roof, even if it meant having the opening smaller in size.

Any chance someone could do a photo shop of black stripes and then another of silver stripes on one of these pics?

I'm starting to lean towards the victory red now...currently have silver ice metallic but I think victory red may be the color...just need to see one with stripes!

Man this is hard...picking a color!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
