Check out solo performance! Mine sounds great and thanks to there new j pipes it's no drone! Just like corsa but this is deeper and more muscle car sound. And if u add headers later it sounds that much better. I get compliments everyday

Doug Thorley is the best bang for the buck with no drone.

There are a lot of options out there in the market for muffler kits, and cat back kits. Hearing it online isn't always the best way, but it can help you make a choice. If you get a chance meet up with your local Camaro club and try and listen to as many of them as you can in person.

From what I have seen here, mufflers are not going to do much HP wise between systems but they do radically effect the sound of the car so choose based off sound first. If there was a 10-15 hp difference between one to the other we have not seen it in most applications.

If you're watching your pennies, why go catback? Why not just do the axleback and save yourself $500. The only gains from an exhaust are sound so why spend more $$ on 2.5in piping when you already have it. Many axlebacks can be had for under $500.

Give Doug Thorley a look. At under $500 shipped, you will not find a better sounding stainless catback system thats also drone free as well. Matter of fact, is less expensive than many axle back systems. I got mine from Maryland Speed and they were great to deal with.

Ok I really appreciate all of your input!I realize now I will gain no hp from cat back...so not to get off course but what if I just get obfuscate longtubes and keep by stock cat back??I haven't heard it in person yet doest sound good? It will be cheaper and produce more power.

I have these on my wish list for the reasons stated above.

I bought the XSPower system on here for $800.00 shipped. It has 1 7/8 long tubes w/off road pipes to a full 3 inch system to the tips. Also included was the 02 extensions. I have NEVER had an engine light from the system and it sounds tame during normal cruising w/no cabin drone. At wide open throttle.....HOLY SHIT....BADASS!!!!!!
