I haven't cleaned the intake yet. I have a catch can installed to minimize any oil getting to the intake. However, it is a good idea to clean the intake. I didn't install my catch can right away so I'm sure I need to. I am planning on inspecting and cleaning mine this week. There is a great DIY on how to do a cleaning by camaro5 member intensifi. Here's the procedure on how to do it if you're interested. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/attach...2&d=1365826143

Congrats on driving it to 100K I am complaining about my car which is 2013 1LS and I got it wih 8 miles on the odometer. (It was the test drive for people who had courage to drive stick ) And now close to 2 years of ownership I have a little over 24K on it and love every mile of it.

BTW, nice wheels. I've been eyeing those for a while.

I have to be honest. I obsessed over how many miles I put on my car. I worried about trade in value, reliability and all the stuff that comes with high mileage. But I never plan on selling this car. I do my own maintenance (oil changes, spark plugs ect.). Best vehicle I've ever purchased. No car is perfect but this has worked out well for me

Congrats!
It's good to hear they are built to last.
Mine just turned one year old on 1/4/15. Somehow (?) I managed to only drive it 5,795 miles.
I love driving this car and the best part of owning it is when my daughter asks me if I want to go for a Camaro ride...Why yes, yes I do.
