If car is being built in early April, should I be past 1100?

Hi,

Subject sais it all. Just wondering if other with orders being built in the first or second week of april have jumped past the 1100 event code. Or for that matter, do you have a TPW? Seems like I should be at least at 3300.

Should I not be in panic mode just yet?

trm0002 moved pretty quickly. Faster than expected. You could be the same way.

Who told you it would be built the 2nd week of April?

My dealer and I just figured that since I was #3, and the first two were taken in march, I would be first in line for april. He has four slots open for his april consensus. Seemed like pretty straight forward math, but I guess things could always end up different

He meant he will put the order in April and build later you first go to 2500 than 3000 than to 3400 and on and on..

This is all hit or miss from my point of view now. trm0002 and I were both pulled on the same day and moved to 3400 almost together.......his car got built Monday and so far, mine has not. This could be a difference of several hundreds of cars up to a thousand between them depending on the build ramp up.

So, I would not take any of the movement on these cars as a definite at this point. Hopefully, mine got built today, or at least by the end of this week. I'd like to stay in the sub-1000 VINs. Only time will tell for sure.

But that doesn't make sence. If I'm #3, and the first two are being built in March, then I would have to be built in april (probably very early in april). He doesn't have any orders prior to me that have already been set up for april build, it's either me or no one.

What's really weird is that some of the march builds were pulled alomost a month out from the 16th, while others didn't go until a few days out.

How far out should 2500 happen from actual TPW?

BTW - Am I so glad I have the event codes taped up next to my computer

If your car is going to be built in the second week of April, it would need to be submitted this Thursday through Saturday, March 19-21. If that's the case, your dealer should have known that by today, or certainly by tomorrow.
If not the second week, that leaves Mar.26-28 to submit for a build Apr.20-24, or Apr.2-5 for an Apr.27-May 1 build.

So if the code didn't change last week, then I'm not in for the first week of april? Could make since. He said there may be one ahead of me, but had to double check that info.

Also, the first week of april is really a half a week. Is this considered the first full week for april, or does it really start on the 6th? If it starts on the 1st, then the second week would be the 6th - 10th. Is this the week we are submitting for this thursday (march 19th)?

Are we all confused yet

I await the Event Code Gods to shine upon me tomorrow

On another note about these submissions. My dealer assures me that the system takes care of everything and that they don't need to actually do anything. Is this true, or do the dealers have to input the weekly submissions?

Can anyone tell me if the event codes are updated daily or are they
updated weekly???

My order was pulled on 2/12 and I have been at 3400 for the last 3 weeks.

Are you considered a march build or april build?
