Selling - Asking for Help Before Listing - Jacksonville, FL
I need to sell for family reasons. I know im going to run into people not knowing exactly what it is compared to a normal SS etc...
If I list on Ebay and Craigslist what should be the starting/buy it now price? I need to sell, doesnt have to be a top dollar deal but I dont want to give it away either. Something fair. Any help would be appreciated. 2014 2SS RS 1LE Dual Exhaust & Nav. etc... Only changes are 5% tint & 1LE badging on sides and rear. 13k miles. |

Recaro seats? That would make a difference to me but I just did a quick search and found one w/o racaro seats but same color and similar milage for $37,500 which to me would be a bargin! I bought my 1LE used about one year ago from a private seller and what was important to me as a buyer of such a car was a description of how the car has been cared for and used i.e. daily driving, track car, garage kept ect. For what it's worth thats my 2 cents. Good luck.

I see values between $31,500 and $33,500 from multiple sources. I would say somewhere in between is fair, and $31K would hopefully help you sell it faster.
2 weeks away from 6th Gen release will make it tough, and probably impact value also.

check kbb and nada to get the market value.
The minimum price would be what you have to get for it (obviously). |

Talk about some bad advice! If you option the car out correctly, NADA has it at 37k and KBB at 35k, then take one look at cars.com and tell me why you'd sell this car for 30 or 31k.

what a car is listed for and actually sells for are 2 different things. of course he can list it for 35-37k but I bet it wont be a quick sale. not saying he wont get it eventually but I know there is a 1LE in the classifieds that has recaros and less miles and he is asking 34 I believe. its still for sale....
if you are in a hurry I think 31-33 would get it done. if not then keep the price higher |

Do you have a Car Max by you? They will appraise the car and tell you what they will write you a check for, which will be approx $2,000-$3,000.00 less than what they expect to sell it for.

What ever you do ,do it now there will be major discounts/incentives on the 2015 Camaros in the next couple of months . The 16's are right around the corner and it is a total redesign ,body style and LT engine .

I know most owners here don't want to admit it but these cars are taking a beating on resale. IMO if you want to sell the car price it at $30,000-$32,000 and hope.
