NGK TR-6 plug install

Any one here ever installed these plugs. What should I space the tip to for the LS3 and what torque should they be tightened at.

The stock plugs are better. Waste of money IMO

not a waste at all. copper plugs burn way better than iridiums or platinum. only difference is you have to change them every 10k miles instead of 100k.

unless you are running boost or nitrous, you don't need tr6....too cold for near stock street driving.

I am running tr55 gapped at .040.

Agreed.

But since you may have already gotten them .040 and hand tight plus 1/16 of a turn.

I have a tvs 2300 supercharger and those are the plugs I'm using. Unless you have nitrous or have boost don't waste your money.

Definitely not a waste. My car was spark knocking like crazy with the AC Delcos and the tuner couldn't even continue tuning the car until I switched to TR6s.

Livernois Motorsports recommended TR6's to me prior to them tuning, gapped at .034. Car is NA.

I raced a turbo charged (700 hp+) car for years with NGK plugs. They were good to go.
