I heard not all dyno jets read exactly the same. I say they read on the low side.

I'm glad I did the dyno, showed that the car can rev to 7200 RPM's and nothing bad happens. Last night when I went to get a milkshake for the wife (made her very happy) I put the car in manual mode and revved it all the way to 7200 RPM's and she was pulling strong the whole way. Ready to get back to the track now, need that fire jacket though.

What's the best dyno to get the best read?

I like the dynojet just the one set of rollers, for the rear. The mustang I beleive has front and rear.

What do you consider the "best read"... You should always dyno in the same dyno to get the real results.

Meaning where the numbers are really accurate? Last time I got a dyno read I was told that my car was pulling back timing and my numbers were extremely low? Haven't done any base runs yet.when I dyno tune it will be at the same dyno.

Yeah, holding up good so far. AFR is leaner now so I'm getting more air then the stock intake.

As for where Magnum runs, modded V6s still run well into the 14s it seems, so his results may not be exactly what you are looking for. That said, if Magnum can manage to run a low to mid 13, that is a good second or more off his N/A time, so I think you could apply roughly the same to whatever you are running.

Any idea when you might be back at the track?

Hopefully soon, think we are going to wait until the 3.73's are in the Mustang though. Right now my wife says I need to change my exhaust out, maybe a quad exhaust like a ZL1. Don't think the 3" pipes would be a good idea though.
