I don't know if it's just me and I didn't pay attention to it in the past or if this is something new people are on to but I did see a 2SS with MT's on it. Dude was running slicks on the street.

I'm so tempted to slap on a couple of Nitto NT05R's this summer on the rear but I have no idea what to put on the front.

I bought a set of MT ET streets for drag racing and find myself using them most of the time on the streets. I can spin the tires so easy w the F1's and driving w the drag radials is night and day for traction. But I never drive the Z in the rain.

I drove my 593 rwhp 94 Z28 for years on Nitto's. And it was my daily driver. The ZL1 isn't my daily driver, just got caught in the rain coming back from a dyno day in Dallas.

I thought the NT05 was a good tire for street/ track until I saw these results.

The Michelin Pilot Super sports are great tires, I run the 315/35/20 on the back of my car. When I researched tires I wanted the widest 315 that I could find and the michelins are what I found "some 315s are narrower than others" . They have a tread width of 12.5 and a section width of 12.6, that was wider than any other brand that I found. I have been using them since I got my wheels in February and I have been really happy with them.

You should go to tire rack and look up BfGoodrich Gforce Rival, looks like a pretty sweet tire. Perfect sizes too. 285/35/20 and 315/35/20
