Welding on headers

I'm looking to have a bung welded onto my LT headers, "with them installed" on the car will I cause any elctrical spikes that will damage my ECM or modules? my exahust guy plans to run a ground from the car to his rack to be safe?

Thanks

Seems to be a natural migration path for Houstonians.

I moved here about 8.5 years ago from Dallas. Couldn't be happier.
