Hmmmmmmmm...shop gets wrong block. If the extra cost for the shops errors and delays are with-in your budget,,,,thats all good. I'd get the build qoute and terms signed in blood...................

my setup should be 6 bolts and the engine they sent was stock. so my 6 bold head wont fit .. something like that, then they told me about the 429. they are going to buy it so they said its gonna cost more than what you have. because this setup is more expansive than the setup you requested.

LSX454 doesn't like lots of boost though. Cylinder walls are too thin. Better to go with the smaller displacement for FI applications.

Iron vs Aluminum block is a huge weight difference.....make sure to account for that with suspension mods. I still think 2 cubic inches is the difference.

You spent $13k for an engine, building a car that you say is 1000hp and you dont know what you are getting? If you arent getting exactly what you wanted for the $13k than I wouldnt be paying for it and I would be finding another shop. More importantly do you have any idea what the internals are because 1000hp takes very solid components to hold that much hp.

And your front suspension was designed around what? ..the current motor? In which case, you will STILL need an upgrade as the new motor is heavier.

And no offense, but most people spending this much money, would research and understand what they are getting. You should know the basics about engines and the various parts involved.

Ever heard the phrase "A fool and his money are soon parted"? You should learn/know the basics so that you understand what you are buying and understand what the shop is talking about.

As for the only "difference is just 2 cubic inches", comment, they don't understand engine basics either.
