Fast or Slow Car

Question: Would you rather drive a fast car slow or a slow car fast? And because I know someone will try to say this- no, there is no third option. No, don't answer "drive a fast car fast". There are only two options: drive a slow car fast or a fast car slow.

id drive a fast car slow. for 2 reasons. 1 becuase i know the car im driven has the balls to own most of the other cars on the road. 2 because when people see me driven this fast car at slower speeds i want them to say " damn asswhole has a 400hp+ car and hes driven the speed limit, i would be tearen up the road with it." i say the same thing now to people with ferraris and lambos, but the people with vettes and vipers arent afraid to let all the horeses run eheheheh

I remember seeing an ad for a car that was going obnoxiously slowly down a neighborhood street. Some old person walked out to the sidewalk and yelled, "Slow down!" It was great.

I think part of the appeal of any car is that it shows a few things about the driver. The way a person drives shows just as much. A slow car with a fast driver screams showoff to me, but a fast car behaving tamely in a 25 shouts class to me. I'm sure I'll have a hell of a time with my Camaro SS—in fact, I'll have the opposite time I'm having in my slow Impreze—but it won't be because I have to drive it fast to appreciate it. There's more to show off about the Camaro when you get a close look.

i would drive a fast car slow. for the bragging reason.

but mainly for this reason:
the fast car can go slow.
but if the slow car truly is slow, than how can it go fast?
in my reasoning, that option is impossible.

For some reason people think they can tear up the roads in anything with power??? Thats why they wouldn't last long in a powerful car.

What I mean is, imagine an MX5 and a Vette. The MX5 is technically a slow car. On most race tracks (not counting, say autocross), the Vette would annihilate it. Yet with the MX5, you can exploit most of its abilities on public roads, without speeding. It can turn, and it just responds so nice to the driver. Now on the same public roads, you won't come anywhere close to experiencing the Vette's full potential. So you could reword this as "would you drive a slow car exuberantly and maximize its potential, or would you drive a fast car as well as you can on public roads, but still be holding it back?"

I've had slow cars that I drove waaaaay too fast...
then I got a fast car that I made even faster, and for some reason, I didn't need to drive as fast as I did with the slow car. I could experience the same thrill as I did driving the slow car fast as I could just giving the fast car with a little extra gas now and then. I didn't have to have it floored the entire time I was driving it.
