Got to see my first ZL1 Camaro today!
Was driving by the local dealership and saw it in the window so I decided to stop in. Man I am in love. Just got it in and already being transferred to another dealer. It is an auto but still. Just plain sexy. Sorry for the pic quality, had to use my droid.

Lol the auto is faster than the manual. Especially after the engineers tuned the tapshifting and other stuff to shift quicker.

I saw one over the weekend. I passed it on the highway on the way to the mall. I was in my SS. Slowed down and rode beside him for a minute checking it out. Then I passed, hanging a thumbs up out my window and made my exit. He exited behind me and when we pulled up to the light he was right beside me on my left. I let my window down and could see it was a guy driving and a woman in the passenger seat. The guy was ignoring me and I motioned for the lady to let her window down so I could say something and she turned and said something to the guy and he never even looked at me. WHAT A DICK!

The ride in it is totally different from the SS. You can tell the suspension and seats are much more track-ready, and it will certainly throw you back against said seat!!!

I have several in my area so far -- driven, not for sale. The first was yellow which I thought was too much. I guess it was the contrast between the black and yellow though. Member of our club has an orange one. Wow, what a great color. (see pic) The black here is awesome. Not sure which color to choose. I love red and have only seen one in that color. Cool.
Thought about getting white and custom painting the car White Diamond but might become too much for the wallet! |

After driving a friends have to say the suspension is the biggest noticeable difference for me with the magnetic ride, power seems very effortless.
Only disappointment was the exhaust seemed really tame to me, I really expected it to sound more vocal than it does. |
