Headers and a Tune - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I ordered a set of 1 7/8" with catless connection pipes from Texas Speed on Saturday. I think I found someone local to give me a dyno tune too. Very happy about that. Chris Lovett @ Wichita Dyno. Most of what I have found on him is local forum stuff, but everyone seems to give him the thumbs up. I think there are some people around here on Camaro5 that know him. They have a Dyno Dynamics dyno.

I am going to schedule an appointment for sometime in the next 2 weeks to get a baseline. Baseline will be Fastlane Pipeline, stock mids, and JBA 3" catback. It'll give me a chance to check out the shop before I let them mess with my car too. Then I'm gonna throw the headers on and go in for the full dyno tune.

This has been a long time coming, and I'm looking forward to having it done before lake season. Hopefully this is a good experience.

I hope my neighbors like loud cars! We're gonna find out. I may have to resort to backing into the garage. I think litle suggested pulling it out to the street before starting it early in the morning

Haha yup!

I'm off on Sundays n Mondays now so I'm not worried about it anymore. Besides my neighbors kid has a honduh and added a fart can so now I just get even on Saturday mornings but if its raining then they get spared lol.

Headers shipped today. So far so good.

I'm trying to get an appointment to get a baseline next week sometime. I don't think I'm gonna be able to wait much longer than that with shiny headers hanging around. Maybe I can bump that up to this week sometime. I might just go drop by their shop tomorrow and see what's up.

Diamondmike's recent success has me looking at direct port injection N2O too. I don't want a blower of any kind. His car is just awe inspiring. What a monster.

You will love them. They fit great and they are easy to install. I just put mine in with there 231/236 cam kit and made 481 hp
