Installed DJ grille hood vent.
Finally had a chance this past weekend and installed my hood vent.

I agree too much going on with the stripes. Vertical and horizontal mixing and matching. Maybe a solid matte black over the entire cowl but need to get rid of the line from the stripes

Thanks for the comments and criticism guys. Yeah it sits like the hex vents and tl1 insert it's not flush with the hood. In the pics it was not taped down yet. As far as the stripes, I agree it's a bit much. But for now, I'll leave them until I have some more down time. Have a three month old so it gets a bit tiring lol. I was thinking of doing the whole hood black to eliminate the multi direction I have going on, maybe hash marks if I remove the rally stripes? I don't know. Good thing is all the black is just dip.
