Looking for a Radio
I am sure there are tons of threads out there about this but with the ever changing world of car audio I want to find out the most recent info. So, next week I should be making my final decision on a deck. I am going with the scosche kit and I am looking at either a Clarion, Kenwood or Alpine deck. What’s the best one out there right now? I figure I should be able to get what I want with the install kit for about $1500. Then I have to add in the back up camera. I want the deck to have GPS, Blue tooth; 7" touch screen and DVD. I want to add in a amp as well as new speakers all around and for right now that would complete the system until I find the subs/amp combo I want. Also looking for sugguestions on speaker set up for front/rears. I will do the install all myself. Whats the best location for the amp that will power the door and rear speakers? Thanks!

In your options that have a full 7" screen, I too would go with the Kenwood DNX9990 as Double D suggested. I really like the Alpine units as well, but their 7" nav unit (INA-W910) is now a bit outdated and being discontinued, and the two new ones that were released for this year don't offer 7" screens.
You speaker, amp, and sub selection can vary greatly depending on what you want to put into that part of the system as far as $$ is concerned. |

JVC NT-800HDT... Normally 1200+, I got it at Amazon for 800...
