I see alot of people here waiting for delivery. Is this because your local dealers don't have them or because your ordering specific options? I picked mine up 2 days ago. the dealer here had 10 SS's and about 8 LTs in stock including a Transformers edition of both.

Probably people wanted personalized options.
Dealers tend to pick the same combos all the time.

im ordering because i haven't seen a dealer with a ground effects kit yet...nor have i seen the color i want in my area

I couldn't find a Transformers edition SS anywhere in 150 miles of where I live in Maryland.

I'm going to order so I get EXACTLY what I want. Spending that kind of scratch should mean no compromising. That and a lot of dealers load up on a lot of the extras that I just don't want. To each their own.

I'd imagine buying dealer stock will cost you more as well...I know in San Antonio you can get your ordered car for MSRP but dealer stock was more expensive...sort of that "got to have it now" price effect...or as dealers say..."market adjustment".

Terrible that they still are doing it...

The Dealers jus' dont hold enough stock! no special orders.
I waited for my CGM RS for 3 damn months!..

I have my Camaro but if I was shopping for one now I wouldn't even pay MSRP. Dealers around here have Camaros sitting on their lots. I think it's got to be a buyers market now, especially with winter and the East Coast snowed in.
A Toyota dealers salesman here in Ct told me their sales are down by 80 a month now. You know if people are not buying Toyotas, they can't be standing in line to buy the new Camaro. Just my thoughts.

Well the lots weren't full with them back in spring and early summer. Waited 4 months for mine but it came as I wanted it.

I was lucky that a local dealer had exactly what I wanted.

Walked in on a Thu night and drove away with my car the next day!

when We ordered the dealer had 5 in stock, none close to what We wanted and had 15 more on the way, again none like what we wanted.. so we ordered..
