V8 - Don't like my Hurst shifter. MTI or MGW?

I don't like how tall the Hurst shifter is in my car. I would like one that sits a lot lower and doesn't have as much free movement while in neutral.

Both the mgw and mti are around $350. I loved the mgw on my c6 z06 and I know mti does great work also because they did the headers/tune on my car. Which should I go with? Anyone have experience with these? Photos?

Thanks

Ill answer your question.... I've had 3 shifters in my car.... MTI, BARTON'S AND MGW...

IMO Barton's shifter is junk.... MTI was a nice shifter... MGW ( which I have now ) is by far the best....

My Barton shifter rattled to hell...way to much side to side slop. Barton's industries told me the would send me the adapter so I could use the stock Shift knob ...I never received it....empty promise I guess...

MTI, just didn't have the short throw shifter feel.. But it was a good shifter.... MGW has the perfect throw and feel...very tight. No side to side slop... Plus the 2nd to 3rd gear assistant helps with never missing 3rd gear.

Do it right the first time and get the MGW....

I had the Hurst Billet Plus 2. Loved the look but didn't care for the shift. Bought an MGW. Love the look and the shift is SIGNIFICANTLY better. MGW is THE shifter in the 5th Gen.

Would the MGW work in a V6? I am looking for a good short throw in my 2LT.
