Paint your Camaro VR and put some stripes on it. Then watched the heads turn and the camera's come out.

It's got to be the colors Bro, red will always get more attention than gray. My ABM SS gets more attention than I would like, stopped twice in the month and a half I've had the car.

Gonna be a lot of sad faces when the newness of the Camaro wears off and you're back to being another car on the road.

A 400hp Camaro SS/RS will never be just another car on the road. I can't see anyone having a sad face driving a Camaro SS (now or 5 years from now).

if by some odd chance they become as popular as the mustang, having 3 on every street corner... whats to be excited about? at that point it becomes very mundane

It must be the color because my Inferno Orange does the same thing your Challenger does. People crowd around it pull up alongside on the highway, come up to you and talk about what a nice car I have.

It will happen. It happens with all cars.

Both my Camaro and Challenger are base models, no options. That's all I wanted/needed. Besides I now have 3 drivers in the house and the Camaro was the 3 new car we have bought in the past 10 months, finances kind of dictated base model for all.

Dodge had the good sense to paint the roof ditch mouldings and throw in a set of (17") 5 spoke aluminum wheels, adding to the flash. Chevy was more practical by including the dual exhust, adding performance.

I bought an Torred SE Challenger 10 months ago and from the start it always received more attention. People catch up to me on the freeway and circle around it all the time just to have look. Not that people haven't given me the thumbs up when I drive the Camaro, just not the same I park both cars far away from other cars in parking lots. The Camaro has yet to attract a crowd, while I've had cplenty of people walk out of their way to get a closer look at the Challenger. I think the lack of head turning has something to with the color. CGM with the black LS steel wheels looks super stealthy which I really like. My wife calls it the Bat Mobile.

In the end I'm happy my Camaro doesn't attract too much attention. If it were flashy I am sure I would have received a speeding ticket this morning on my way to work. I was going just a little too fast (as I tend to do more often now) just before sunrise when I passed a Highway patrol officer pointing his radar gun at everyone except me. If had been in my bright red Challenger at that speed I'm sure I would have been that cops primary target.

It's all good in the end, my 16 y.o. son gets to drive the (slow) flashy car and I get to fly under the radar in my own Stealth fighter.
You must drive the chally naked then. The Camaro is more of eye catcher then a boxy Challenger LOL I really do like the Challenger too. Good old American Muscle
