My camaro is down

Well I had a little under a quarter of a tank and filled up with BP 93. Well I made it about 2 miles and the car started to buck and stumble. Then it just died. Kept trying to crank it but it would just keep dying. I hope something didnt get messed up. I checked the codes and they were Lean bank left and right. Also low voltage bank or something. So she's sitting at the dealership.:(

Yeah I would not touch BP here in town with my car. They have a had gas put in the diesel pumps and vice a versa a couple of times. They have ruined several cars and seem to just keep doing it.

QFT

My local BP has done the same thing and they've been caught several times watering down their gas as well.

They won't be able to get to it till tomorrow. So if the gas station is responsible how do I prove it? I kept the reciept and it shows I purchased 93. Thanks everybody this really sucks!!!

does this car have a recirculating system? If it does not, then the gas he just put in would not have been in the system in under 2 miles, the gas he already had would still be in the line.

My bet is on bad gas and/or dead fuel pump. Good luck!

yes it can be in the system in less than 2 miles.. depends on how much he had to sit in traffic in those two miles and other factors.. My dad had water in his gas and he didn't make it out of the station before it started missing... If the water goes directly to the pickup and a big slug gets sucked up, it won't take very long for your engine to sputter and die..

If it was water in the gas ... lets hope it was very lil

IF it still cranks than thank god is not hydrostatic lockup ... you would need a whole new engine
