They build Mustangs to buddy, as a matter of fact they have built some very nasty Mustangs and Camaro's. I happen to own both Chevy and Ford, both nice cars and both can be very fast reliable street cars. Just remember the Camaro is 300-400 lbs heavier and will need more power than the Mustang to win a drag race.

I saw a post on another forum(370Z) a guy was looking to get a GT500. MSRP $68,000 what I could do with $10,000 in mods.

Sorry cant compare a fully Loaded 500 to a bare bones ZL1. Its 5K compared Same or few hundred dollars less than a ZL1 without TP and PP. Remember not to many people go to autocross events. Think I have seen 3 maybe 4 people on here do it lol.

Why does anything performance related to the ZL1 always have to be beaten to death with he 500. Yes it's a competitor but this post is about modded ZL1's at livernios not the price of a fully option glass roof GT500!

Unfortunately not, just the one here in Michigan.

You definitely would not be the first person to drive here from Cali for upgrades though

I thought I wouldn't have the timeline left to get the HP upgrade, and since project "FREEDOM FIGHTER" is in your neck of the woods, heading your way this week for your 750 PACKAGE!

Do you feel an upgrade to any driveline pieces would be needed for a street cruiser with your above mentioned gear?
- clutch?
- axels?
- studs?

- using that as a static number...
--- black ZL1 is at ~670 HP flywheel
--- yellow ZL1 is at ~728 HP flywheel
--- white ZL1 is at ~815 HP flywheel
----- The trap speed and ~4400 lbs indicates a lot higher HP (854 at the wheel and 928 on the fly)

Who cares!!! it's VERY quick!
