Dealer Mark-Up Gone Wild
Spotted this Z/28 at my local dealer. Over 65% dealer mark-up! Sorry, I can't figure out how to rotate the pic.

I hope John L. Sullivan Chevrolet enjoys eating the floor plan fees for a few months while this vehicle depreciates into a year old car. The only possible explanation is that the dealership owner must want to keep it for himself.

I thinks the mods need to place this thread under the sticky "Price Gouging Dealers" on the ordering board. That is insane and this dealer should be avoided.

Haha that's a local dealer out here. California dealers are the worst from what I've seen and I work as a vendor for 10 of them out here. Can't disclose which ones for the safety of my work.

...Let 'em fish....Somebody may bite....or, look at the hi-priced "bait" and "switch" to a lower priced model...
....Keeping it on the showroom floor for a while with an astronomical price (for now) is probably a smart move to get in foot-traffic that will buy other models anyways... If the Z/28 sits at that price, fine....It will come down to a sale eventually....the dealer can't lose no matter what it sells for... |

But that doesn't mean I really NEED it.
