It happens. I've been driving for 26 years and I just recently murdered a curb like a 15 yr. old kid with a learner's permit. It sucks, and I felt like an idiot, but luckily it was in my Sonic so no harm done.

Just got the rim repaired. Highly recommend kellywheelrepair.com if you're in the Sacramento area. Hayden did a great job! And yes, the tea was good, just not $154.25 good. Seriously considering "curb feelers" like my mom had on her '76 Nova.

There is a lesson here. Don't change your routine.

See pic... not for thesqueamish... was learning to drive this thing, lol... and not even sure how the dang things started to tarnish... 3 of 4 wheels, the other one is immaculate, lol

These days, not a scratch on my Niche Milan's... maybe its a psychological thing... I'm making wide turns in to drive ways and am always aware of the wheel to curb ratio when within a few feet. I think I learned my lesson...

I feel your pain. Had my stock LT wheels for about half a year, no damage no curb rash. Bought Torque Thrust 2's and did up both front ones quite nicely within 8 mos, ugh. Need to go down to Detroit area and get them fixed...

Mine were all rashed when I bought used. $65 a wheel and they look new.
