Paint protection, 3M or expel?
Just wondering if anyone has much experience with these clear films for paint protection?
I have had the 3M done on 2 avalanches and found the 3M to go slightly yellow on a white surface. The expel has only been out 2 years and they guaranty it for 7 years against yellowing. I'm going to get my SS done and I'm leaning towards the expel.

I had 3M on mine and had it replaced with Xpel last fall due to yellowing.

For white, I'd go with Xpel.

Expel it is
So, I went with the expel, did all the front end and up 16" on the hood as well as mirrors. Can hardly see it on there. I'll keep it clean and waxed and see how it works out.
thanks

I have a black car and I'm thinking of getting Xpel. I'm going to have a local shop put it on. For an extra $50 he can do the fenders. I'm not sure if I want to get the fenders done because I'm afraid they will show to much on a black car. Has anyone with a black car had this done? If it shows to much is Xpel easy to remove?
