Question for your guys. It looks like it's a fairly split agenda on running a front plate, I see a bunch of you guys with and without them. I'm running without - I've got it in the glove box in the event that I get harassed about it. What experiences have you guys running without front plates had with the law on this issue?

2 5th gens over 7 years. Been pulled over twice for speeding and have gone through checkpoints. Only time it was bought up was by a border agent coming back from Canada once. I pulled it out from the pouch on the back of the passenger seat and told him I needed to get a bracket. He just said ok.

Also 2 5th gens and neither have had any trouble

Cops really don't bother american muscle about not having a front plate. I don't even keep the spare one in the car. What sense does it make? The law states it has to be fixed to the front of the vehicle. I chuckle when I see people having it in their front windshield. You're still breaking the law and just drawing more attention. When I had a 350z and STI I got hassled for not having a front plate once for each. It wasn't the reason for being pulled over, though.

The 18" black steel wheels with TPMS and snow tires that are worn, not sure how much tread is left.
