Kenne bell mammoth catch can help
Hello everyone. I have a 434 lsx block tfs 245cc heads, big blower cam with a kenne bell 2.8H and mammoth inlet that I am looking for some guidance on regarding a catch can set up. Can't seem to find any real information when searching for high hp kenne bell builds.
Basically I would like to find out what catch can you Guys with this type of build are running and how you have routed it ( a link where I could purchase would be great). Are you running a an10 off each valve cover to each side of the catch can? Or? Any Check valves? Looking for specifics of what works and what doesn't. All help is appreciated. Don't really care in the cost sense of things as long as it works. However would like to stay away from a vacuum pump if possible only because it would make my belt routing extremely complicated. |

What i ended up doing was welding in -10AN bungs on each valve cover and running them to the ports on a vented can. Real similar to the "race" can setup here:

Thank you for the reply! I think that's the route I will take as well. Not to many other options out there by the looks of it. I see a couple different companies carry the oil fill hole replacement covers that give you a -10 connection. Wondering if it would be easier to just use two stock passanger side valve covers with on of these on each rather than getting bungs welded in. Just a curious idea considering I have multiple sets of stock valve covers laying around.
