Heat shield rattle after SLP Header package!

I have just installed the SLP header package and was wondering what you guys used to quiet the heat shields....Could anyone direct me to a fix?

Possibly Dyno mat?

I have the same thing. Driving me crazy! I did go back and make sure the O2 connectors weren't causing it. Really bad in parking lots or any RPM that might cause bucking. If I find it I'll let you know

Where are you going to get your tune done?

Make sure it is actually the heat shield. I had a rattle that was caused by a screw from the frame hitting the header on the passenger side.

Yeah I knocked down the screw on the pass. side when I installed! Didnt want to mess up ther coat....but the noise is from the shifter area, mainly hear it when im in first gear at times. The header to the high flow cat cuts it close to the body.

My rattle came from the cross over under the car. The pipes were laying on it and making all kinds of noise. Grabiak Chevy put some washers under the pan thus lowering it down and now all is OK. I have the SLP LT headers with high flow cats and full SLP exhaust.

After adding headers and catback , had ratteling noise, sounded like a heat sheild was loose or hitting, o2 sensors were loose. easy fix tighten sensors ratteling stopped.
