Have they put the car on the ground yet??? If not that sounds like your problem.

HAHAHAHA have them set the car back down and everything should be fine. Just double check to make sure they are in right.

I have Eibach's springs and bars. Mine were NOT loose after installing on the struts and before installing on the car. I had a small PRELOAD compressing the spring onto the strut. Be sure to get an alignment after you have them installed.

Make sure they are seated into the struts when they lower the car and weight is applied to them.... You may hear a knocking sound from the back end every once in awhile if they don't.

+1 Pretty normal.

Just make sure they hand torque the nuts, not air tools, might break something or spin the shock shaft and cause shocks to fail.

You do not want the spring to have any play on the strut when your suspension is full travel extended. Not compressed. After you install on the car, while the car is on the lift and wheels hanging full down, check to see if the spring has ANY travel or is loose. If no travel and spring is in tight then no problem. I would not want the spring to be loose at full travel down. My 2cents. Good Luck

Like the guys said. The strut 'assembly' will be loose in the air. But the springs themselves shouldn't be loose inside the strut assembly. YES you will be able to move it around if you grab it and use a little force, but it shouldn't move inside the assembly.

Here is one of them inside the assembly before I took the old spring out. Spring should not be loose.

Here is the car where the top of the strut seats into the car. This will be loose before you lower the car to the ground.
