2010 Camaro SS vs 2002 Z28
Who would win? What's your guys thoughts ? Hypothetical race.
Car 1: Cammed VVT-1 L99 with full exhaust, intake(ported tb/ ported intake manifold), 3.91's, tune on 150 shot, drag radials and skinnies, stock stall. 3800 lbs. Car 2: Cammed Torquer V2 LS1 auto with full exhaust, 3.73's, intake(ported tb/ ported ls6 intake), 3800 stall, suspension(sfc's, panhard, lca's, torque arm, drag bags) and slicks/skinnies. 3300 lbs. Cnc'd LS6 It's a co-workers and a friend's car and we have a little rivalry... He thinks I will need nitrous to keep up at the track, I'm pretty sure I will... what's your thoughts? We are both currently in the middle of our builds... Will be done by spring(well at least the ls1 will; he has most of the listed setup already done). IMO any chance I have is all in the 60 foot. Later on thinking about doing 100 shot for the ls1, that may make things interesting. Just taking one step at a time in my build currently. Stock Converter will probably hurt the 2010 along with the 3800 vs 3300 weight. He will probably catch you at the 1/8 mile or so with the 150 shot

Even though i will do this soon I Keep hearing the 3.91 will make it hard to hook but you have DR/skinnies. Also the stall ls1 might be killer for you. You on spray I think you can take the Win.- just don't blow the launch
