Yesterday afternoon I was driving home from Mexico (it looked oddly familiar to Tulsa, Oklahoma...) and as I was on the highway I came up on a new white mustang GT, sounded like it may have a little work done (bolt ons) as I was passing him in the left lane, he rolls his window down and speeds up next to me, then proceeds to downshift and floor it. I obliged. downshifted to 2nd and before I was out of 4th had already caught him and was passing. I let off as I was already well ahead and just let the car slow itself down as my exit was coming up, then the best part happens. As I am exiting we both simultaneously hold our hands out and give each other thumbs up. It appeared that we both had found a “Camaro guy”and a ”Mustang guy” who didn't care what kind of car the other was driving and are just fans of performance in general!

It's alright to say he outrun you,everyone knows the 5.0 is faster

not to thread jack but I just had a run in with some guy and his Honda that was running like 90+ passing people and I decided to slow him down myself in my suburban and I blocked him in between me and this other car. He was pissed that a loaded SUV could outrun his pride and joy haha

I've had a similar experience with a new modded v6 mustang(exhaust anyways it was loud and not in a good way) on the highway. We ran em from 70 and afterwards he gave me a thumbs-up out the window as he was exiting. Not all mustang owners are douche-bags......

Happened to me the other day on the way home from work. Riding with cutouts open and came across a 5.0 with cutouts as well. Idk how we didn't have the fuzz pulling us over for noise but almost the whole way it was like a "your turn!" thing. Always cool to come across other car guys. Funny how there's this made up gang rivalry with Camaros and Mustang drivers.

Unfortunately we will always be outnumbered.....but a good shot from my exhaust has most of them only pulling up to my back tire when I'm stopped.
