I put mine here. I dont plan on ever trading it in or getting rid of it so I wasnt worried about it being right on the console.

Barton,

I had that same setup (and a Barton shifter ) but I had problems with the red switch vibrating due to the extra vibrations coming through on the short throw shifter. Putting your finger next to the shifter stopped it but if you didn't have your finger on there it made a racket.

You have this same problem?

Have you ever had a problem hitting the activation switch? Looks a little close to the shifter?

El Chorizo- yes the Switch is Noisy on there. Im gonna try and take one of my shift balls and make a momentary switch on it and then drill out the upper stick in the center so the wires can run through the middle of the shifter and then back out through a side hole under the shift boot.

Fishdaddy- Nope no problems with that. But im going to do what I said above for a cleaner install.

If you do that, I'd like a modified version. That would be perfect.... Let me know what I need to do to get my Barton shifter done up as well!

I have to figure out the switch thing first. As you know I dont use plastic shift balls with a insert, So the hole size might limit my options. If all else fails I guess I could just buy a shift ball with a switch and just modify the upper stick. If I can get something to work I will let you know. You to Fishdaddy.. Do you use our shifter?

Thanks Barton! That's what I needed!! I don't plan on sellin mine either but I want to be sure I like where I put it the first time! I don't want to put it somewhere and be like oh I really should have put it here! Lol! I put my line lock on and my brakes still feel kinda mushy! I bleed em a couple times! How many times does it take to bleed out all the air that was in the line lock tubing? Do u take off the reservoir cap while bleeding? I pumped the brakes and held it then bleed and tightened the screw and let off the brake. Is this correct?

I did not remove the cap. It takes 2 guys. Push in the brake, hold it down, and then the other guy loosens the bleeder screw untill fluid comes out, he then tightens it and then you release the brake. Do this to all 4 sides, more then likely its just the front passenger side that needs it but I was still able to get some air out on the others. I did the front passenger side probably 20 times and the others 3. I dont know if you need to but I also activated the linelock a couple times to. I thought my brakes still felt a little "mushy" too unstill I drove the car.

video demo of my line lock. I used a different style push button that i push to activate and burnout and push again to start rolling out of the burnout. And i set up the LED light to turn on when i push the button and not when the system is armed. its different than what is in the install manual i just didnt want to hold down a button when i burn out.
