Procharger advertises 175hp to a completely stock Camaro.
But if I was gonna put one on my car it would be the edelbrock E-force supercharger. |

Moved to the forced induction section.
Most superchargers come with instructions for installing yourself. It will take longer than having a shop do it unless you have the knowledge and tools to do so yourself. If you meant without doing anything else to the engine mod-wise...I have a procharger on my car with nothing else. I'm making the numbers in my signature. Street legal in CA(carb number pending). |

yeah, there is some stuff to swap out. Like the supercharger itself sits where the intake manifold is, then you change out a couple brackets and idler pullies, fuel rails, and fuel injectors.
here are the instructions... http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...injected.shtml |

You should research these before you buy one. The Edlebrock and Procharger are two totally differant set ups. The Procharger also has more options. The Edelbrock will look more OEM but the Procharger makes more power.

At the tuning school last week, the students worked on a 2011 C6 with and E-force and I was very impressed. It has an OEM look. Change the pulley to a 3 inch and watch out!
Throw a little cam in it and you'll be at 600 RWHP |

Isn't whipple making 600 rwhp on a stock LS3/L99 ? I haven't seen those types of numbers from ANY of the centifigul superchargers which are supposed to be more efficient. I'm so confused.
Maggies, Whipples, vortechs, pro chargers, Kenny bells and E forces !!So .....many..... choices....so..... little...... time .

E-force is a straight forward install. You have to swap the manifold and injectors but nothing internal to the engine.

I installed my MagnaCharger myself, not a bad install at all, I don't even really have a garage, so it was basically installed in the driveway. Which ever you chose, there is alot of help on this board that can walk you through it and give you hints that will help along the way. I know a few hints definitely saved me a few hours. My install was about 10 hours of wrench time.

No it is a Direct Bolt on everything is included for install and tuning.
Pretty Much all supercharger companies have a Base system that can be installed without changing anything else. They will all Produce nearly the same power in the base system, they are all Very high quality. This is why it is so hard to choose, feel free to give me a call to discuss the different systems available and your goals. Ted.
