It is nice, but you will never have the power of a V8, I love mine but I will be getting SS soon

I think we may disagree.....just watch gretchens latest transformation. We will be in the 10 sec 1/4 mile territory before long.

There are several V6s on here that are putting out the same or more power than a stock SS. Of course, we don't have a powertrain warranty any more, but that's the modder's life...

If I were into racing at the track, then sure, I would probably choose the V8. I just don't need that much power for everyday (legal) driving though. Would it be fun? Yes! Practical? Nope. All it boils down to is bragging rights. Is it worth an extra 8K to impress some people on an internet forum?

Unfortunately, we can't get the V8 rumble with our sixes, but that doesn't mean an upgraded exhaust and intake won't leave it sounding pretty darn good.

My M6 is plenty quick . It's just as quick as my 2000 Z28 was.Gets great mileage, cheaper to maintain and no 'performance car surcharge' from the insurance man.To each his own,but I like my car just the way it is.

I bought my Baby to look good while crusing. I'd say she has 'enough' power for my purposes.

With all of the bolt ons listed above you'd be in the 345 to 360 range and then depending on your type of transmission that makes a difference in the output as well.

Vararam is claiming 15 to 20 on the automatic and in the Vararam thread has shown about 27 HP gain on the manual that was used for testing there.

So those are still great numbers though, and your not wayyyy off, just a bit too high.
So the final vararam production is reaching 30hp gains with highest gains being in the 3rd gear at 5k rpms which is purely hp related. Also in combination of the latest trifeca tunes, 380 is looking more of a reality, would you agree now?

Im not sure if this intake is getting the 30rwhp
I dont understand how the first prototype dyno'd 24 rwhp and then 27rwhp but now the new vararam intake wont show those gains on a dyno? So how did the first prototype show those gains is what I truly dont understand
