it does make sense......even if they did price it more they wouldnt be able to go over the srts base price ....then ppl would op for the rt everytime.....and yes it is underated the ram has 390 and 410 that is the true numbers but dodge wont advertise it due to the srts similar numbers.

This is dead true. I dyno'd my R/T bone stock on a dynojet dyno and got 335 to the wheels. That's about 400 at the crank.

MANY others get the same number on a dynojet. 305 is the norm on a Mustang dyno as they rate HP a bit differently.

R/T sales are almost 50% of the total Challengers sold. So Dodge would make a good chunk of change if they advertised these 'true' numbers and raised the price a little bit. And isn't the price difference between an R/T and an SRT like $10k anyway?

trust me they make up for the other 50% when they sell the srt at its overpriced 10k premium

I was actually considering a Chally, looked for a non-Bro (bend right over) deal for almost 2 years. I was not going to pay the price gouging crap that damn near every dealer was enjoying.

Anyway-I absolutley love my Camaro.
