It was the one for $499. It looked like the GPS version so I hope that's pretty accurate. At least give me some ballpark figures of where the car is at.

Oh okay, after looking some more, I was thinking of the VBOX Mini, which is more or less the 'consumer' version of the really really expensive setups that the magazines (etc.) use. It's still quite pricey, but oh the data!
http://www.vboxusa.com/performancedrift/vboxmini.php The one you bought still looks awesome. I'd love to have one! It isn't in the cards, though. I spent that money on the GPS speedometer (and matching 8000rpm tach), heh. |

haha nice
Will the reservoir for the meth kit go in the trunk or did they find a way to utilize the wiper fluid tank? That will be sweet to see what it can do with the turbo - What kind of boost controller did you go with?

I figured I buy everything from STS. Their kit will be using the wiper fluid reservoir, which is already modified (smaller) as part of the initial Turbo Kit. They also included a 2 stage boost controller. Basically it will run at the current boost of 5 psi. then when I hit the switch, it will run the "high boost" and activate the methanol injection. The STS Boost controller can be adjusted 1-5 psi. I believe. I'm looking for a place to install the pump as there's not a lot of mounting space and I didn't want to fabricate a bracket.

Not sure if you would know the answer to this, but how exactly is the turbo mounted? I know it's a direct bolt on, right? I guess i'm confused as to how it mounts to the stock exhaust and if it would work with an aftermarket exhaust (corsa).

also, was the tune the $600 option with the cable?
whenever you get the chance, i'm sure we would all love more pictures of the setup and your car, while we wait for further info from you.

$600 tune does not come with cable. You will have to "ship back" the cable to STS once your tunes are loaded. I would suggest that you don't buy the tune from STS (save the $600 to them) and buy directly from Trifecta. |

So the tune from sts is the $400 option from trifecta. So you suggest buying through trifecta to get the cable for $600? Do you get the $400 subtracted from sts since you don't need the tune?

I paid $600 through STS since at the time I ordered/paid for the kit, I didn't know it was Trifect doing the tune. And no, STS's fee did not include the cable. I'm just suggesting to you to buy it direct from Trifecta since that's who's doing the tune anyway.

Z, how much did it cost you to get installed?
I was quoted $6700 to have it installed and everything. (kit included in that price obviously) |
