I have put all my music on the external SD card.

Start with the cable plugged into the USB port but UNPLUGGED from the phone.

Select AUX on the radio.

On the phone itself select Menu, Settings, Wireless and Network
Select USB Utilities
Select "Connect Storage to USB"
Connect the USB cable to the phone
Select "Connect USB Storage" on the phone.

I think most of those steps are accurate.

Questions/Comments/Issues just ask

Try naming the folder you have your music in, "music" and see if that helps.

Mine is named "My Music".

I don't think it matters what you name the folder your music is in. It's the sequence of events you take when plugging the phone in that matters.

Thanks! Ordered an sd card from Amazon, will give this a try once it comes in.

I tried this but I don't get the "Connect USB Storage" button once I connect the phone to the car. I do get that button when I connect it to my PC.

Do you know what version of the PDIM software you have?

Thanks for the help. But once I connect the cable after clicking on "Connect Storage to USB" I don't get the screen in Part2 of the video. It just takes me back to the screen with "Connect Storage to USB"

I needed to drop off the car at the dealer because of some paint chipping issues, I told them to look at the PDIM too.

I cant get mine to work either.. I dont have an SD card, just the built in storage, but it will not detect my music. Does it need to be in a special named folder?

The service guys at my dealer said that Android phones would only work with SD cards and they could get a phone to work with my car. My phone still doesn't work though. I am not sure if it's an issue with the Sprint version of the phone or with my particular device

Yeah, my music is on a 32GB SD card. Not sure about the internal storage.
