Could it be???
At the bottom of the link, the writer suggest the new LS7 in the new vette is the same as the engine in the Z/28. No news there but he also suggests that the new LS7 approaches 600hp. Could it be that they are testing with an older LS7 but will offer the newer one in the Z/28??

I highly doubt GM would roll over the LS7. If there is a 7.0 liter in the C7 Z06, it would more than likely be an LT series.
The LS7 is barely smog legal now. I don't see how they could get 600 HP N/A from it and keep it with in the smog regulations. |

Maybe they could make a Florida version since we do not have smog issues to deal with. Of course, I am just joking but it would be cool.
